Planned Parenthood Action Council (PPAC) is a non-partisan, not-for-profit organization formed as the advocacy and political arm of Planned Parenthood Association of Utah. PPAC engages in educational and electoral activity including legislative advocacy, voter education, and grassroots organizing to promote reproductive freedom.

Abortion remains legal in Utah
On August 1, the Utah Supreme Court rejected Utah’s request to overturn the preliminary injunction blocking SB 174, the state’s abortion Trigger ban, from taking effect. This decision means that abortion care continues to remain legal in Utah up to 18 weeks of pregnancy, as it has since June 2022.
The 2024 Legislative Session ended on March 1

Planned Parenthood's doors remain open.
Planned Parenthood's eight health centers are still providing a full range of sexual and reproductive health care--including abortions up to 18 weeks. Abortion services remain legal and available in Utah. We will keep fighting to keep abortion legal for all Utahns!
