Planned Parenthood Generation Action of Arizona

Join our network of student activists across Arizona!

Planned Parenthood Advocates of Arizona has PPGen chapters across the state. Get involved with one of our active chapters or help us expand!

You will collaborate with fellow students and organize events on your campuses and in your local communities, with the goal of:

  • mobilizing advocates for reproductive freedom and justice
  • raising public awareness about reproductive justice issues
  • educating and networking with your peers about sexual health
  • gaining educational and professional organizing and advocacy experience
  • promoting change on your campus, in Arizona, and beyond

ASU Chapter President

I am a junior at ASU and am currently the president of the ASU PPGen chapter. I started with PPGen NAU and I wanted to get more involved with reproductive rights. I joined PPGen to be more involved and help make a difference. It's important work but we have fun, it isn't always so serious.

Growing up with just my single mother and watching her support two kids with little to no federal help, inspired me to get involved in women's rights along with human rights. My best friend is the President of PPGen ASU, and we went protesting at the Capitol, after that, I knew I wanted to join this organization. The work we do is not all about abortion; while abortion care and accessibility are important, we also focus on voting and supporting bills and representatives who support human rights and advocating for sexual education for all. 

UA Chapter President

I am a student at UA majoring in Rehabilitation Studies and Services and minoring in Government and Public Policy. I am passionate about reproductive health rights and policy making. As a woman, I want the right to make my own choices regarding my health, and I believe all people deserve it too. 

Volunteer

Planned Parenthood volunteers serve in a wide range of capacities, including on the phone, at the Capitol, on campus, online, and in the community.
