Today, Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin (PPAWI) announced its endorsement of Judge Lisa Neubauer for Wisconsin Supreme Court and Attorney Danielle Shelton for Milwaukee County Circuit Court.

Statement from Mel Barnes, Legal and Policy Director of PPAWI:

“PPAWI is proud to endorse Judge Lisa Neubauer for the Wisconsin Supreme Court because she is an experienced jurist who can be trusted to uphold the law when it comes to women’s health. Judge Neubauer knows Wisconsinites deserve access to medical care, free from political interference.

“Her opponent, Judge Brian Hagedorn, has proven he is unfit to serve on the Wisconsin Supreme Court. He has shown where he stands on women’s health by calling Planned Parenthood a ‘wicked organization.’ Judge Hagedorn also founded a school that excludes LGBTQ students and teachers. A judge who doesn’t recognize the equality of all people has no place on the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

“PPAWI is also thrilled to endorse Attorney Danielle Shelton for Milwaukee County Circuit Court. We know she will be a fair and balanced judge. Attorney Shelton has spent her career fighting for justice for all people. We trust her to uphold the values of Wisconsinites, especially when it comes to women’s health.

“Our supporters are energized, and we are mobilizing them to show up to the polls on April 2nd and vote for women’s health champions Judge Lisa Neubauer and Attorney Danielle Shelton.”
