Each candidate is dedicated to protecting and expanding access to reproductive rights and medically accurate, inclusive health care. Their platforms align with PPGPV’s mission to ensure everyone has the freedom and opportunity to make health care decisions without political interference.
In Missouri, abortion has been banned since the overturn of Roe v. Wade and was largely restricted out of reach for Missourians for years before that time. In Kansas, despite the August 2, 2022, vote where Kansans overwhelmingly supported protecting access to abortion, anti-abortion politicians continue to ignore the will of their constituents by introducing harmful, overly intrusive, and traumatizing bills.
As we approach the August 6 primary elections, PPGPV will be releasing additional endorsements and encourages all voters to educate themselves on the issues and candidates’ positions. Voting is a powerful tool to ensure that our representatives reflect our values and priorities.
