(Concord and Washington DC) Today, Planned Parenthood Votes will launch a statewide electoral program to alert voters about Kelly Ayotte’s anti-abortion agenda. The program in New Hampshire is part of “We Decide,” a national Planned Parenthood advocacy and political campaign to protect reproductive rights nationwide. This year’s campaign will reach across more than 14 key states; including but not limited to Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. Planned Parenthood advocacy and political organizations combined will be investing $40 million this election cycle to engage more than 9 million voters.

The New Hampshire program is slated to spend at least $750,000 and reach approximately 250k voters through digital ads, mail, door-knocking, and phone calls.

Planned Parenthood Votes also plans to fight for the re-election of President Biden and Rep. Chris Pappas, and for reproductive rights champions up and down the ballot in New Hampshire.

Statement from Kayla Montgomery, NH spokesperson for Planned Parenthood Votes:

“The stakes for abortion rights in New Hampshire have never been higher. New Hampshire is the only state in New England with no abortion protections in our state law or state constitution, and who we elect as the next Governor of our state will determine access to health care and the freedom to control our lives or not. The choice is clear - Kelly Ayotte has voted for a national abortion ban, voted to defund Planned Parenthood multiple times, and played a pivotal role in supporting Donald Trump’s Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch, who was instrumental in overturning Roe two years ago. As governor, she would only push reproductive health care further out of reach for Granite Staters. Gubernatorial candidate Chuck Morse brags about being the architect of New Hampshire’s first abortion ban in modern history - he even voted against a bipartisan exception for fatal fetal anomalies. Planned Parenthood Votes will work to ensure that voters know who they can trust to protect their health and rights. The 2024 election is our time to decide. And when we decide, we win.”
