Across Texas, communities are coming together to honor and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community’s resilience, diversity, and strength. At PPTV, we recognize that reproductive rights and LGBTQ+ rights are deeply interconnected, and are proud to support and fight for the rights of all Texans.

Texas is brimming with Pride events that promise to inspire, educate, and entertain. From parades and festivals to workshops and community gatherings, there's something for everyone. HOUSTON

 

AUSTIN

  • Pride Market + Tie-Dye Station - June 9th, 12pm - 4pm
     
  • Family Day: Pride - June 9th, 11am - 4pm
    Family Day Pride will feature a dazzling drag show by Kween KeeKee and gender affirming hair styling by Shag Noir Salon. Plus, enjoy story-time, crafts, sculpture searches, and engage with local LGBTQ+ advocates like Austin PRIDE and Equality Texas.
     
  • Pride Picnic at Pease Park - June 29th, 10am - 2pm
    Celebrate Pride Month in Pease Park and experience local vendors, music, tie dying, plant swap, friendship bracelet making, and more. 

 

DALLAS

  • Pride in Bloom at the Dallas Arboretum - June 8th-9th, 10am-4pm
    Join us for the Dallas Arboretum’s 3rd annual Pride in Bloom! Celebrate diversity and community with two full days of live music, chef demonstrations, LGBTQ+ vendor market, and much more. 
     
  • Dallas Arts District Pride Block Party  - June 21st, 6pm - 12am
    Dallas Arts District, with the Dallas Museum of Art, Nasher Sculpture Center, and Crow Museum of Asian Art, will celebrate the 7th annual PRIDE Block Party, the largest PRIDE event in Downtown Dallas, on June 21, 2024. There will be pride-themed tours, performances, films, artists, gourmet food trucks, makers, drag shows, informational tables, activities, guided tours and more!
     
  • Legacy’s Pride Variety Show - June 22nd, 6:30pm - 9pm
    Local nonprofit Legacy Cares is hosting a night of entertainment for a good cause! The show will feature LGBT entertainers including singers, dancers, comedians, drag queens, and more. 

 

MCALLEN

  • Roots For Justice: Environment + Repro Teach-in - June 15th,  2pm - 5PM
    A Mission-based volunteer will be hosting this Pride event at Casa Orgullo-the RGV’s first safe place for LGBTQ+ teens. The event will be teach-in style about the intersections between repro, queer, and environmental justice and will feature a plant pot painting activity. Community partners will table and speak about their orgs

 

SAN ANTONIO

  • Pride on the Eastside - June 8th, 4pm - 8pm 
  • Pride Bigger than Texas Festival and Parade - June 29th, 11am - 7pm
    ​​​​​​​Food, entertainment, PRIDE wedding, health fair and more! Support your local LGBTQ+ and ally small businesses, vendors, entertainers and performers! Net proceeds raised by Pride San Antonio will be distributed through public community gatherings to registered nonprofit organizations chosen by the Board of Directors from entities recognized by the Internal Revenue Service of the United States.
