The digital and streaming buy highlights stakes for Nevadans’ reproductive freedom

NEVADA — This week, Planned Parenthood Votes (PPV) and Nevada Advocates for Planned Parenthood Affiliates PAC (NAPPA PAC) launched its first round of advertisements in Nevada for the 2024 cycle. The ad, “Nevada Decides,” spotlights the choice that voters have this election between a Harris-Walz ticket that will fight for reproductive freedom or  Trump-Vance  who, with their allies,  plan to ban abortion nationwide and eliminate Nevadans’ right to control their own bodies.

PPV and NAPPA PAC’s advertisements will run for at least six weeks in both English and Spanish on digital and streaming platforms, including YouTube. This campaign will target core constituencies in the Las Vegas and Reno regions, including Latino communities, young people, and suburban women.

“This election, Nevada voters have a decision to make: whether to elect steadfast champions for their right to abortion, or a duo who will put personal power ahead of protecting our freedoms,” said Lindsey Harmon, executive director of Nevada Advocates for Planned Parenthood Affiliates PAC. “Despite mixed messages on the campaign trail, Donald Trump and JD Vance are committed to banning abortion. And they’ll go after birth control, IVF, and other essential reproductive health care next. Every Nevadan deserves to know the truth about these grifters and the threat they pose to our fundamental freedoms. Nevada Advocates for Planned Parenthood Affiliates PAC will do everything in our power to reach voters across the state and make sure they know the stakes of this election.”

The ad campaign comes a week after NAPPA PAC launched a door-to-door effort to talk to 70,000 voters, targeting Latino communities, young people, suburban women, and new Nevada voters in the Las Vegas and Reno regions.

Transcript: “Nevada Decides”

Nevada will decide this presidential election, and we’re rejecting politicians who want to ban abortion nationwide – even in Nevada.

[Trump speaking]: “I’m the one who got rid of Roe v. Wade”

[Vance speaking]: “I certainly would like abortion to be illegal nationally.”

This election, we decide to vote for a champion for reproductive freedom:

[Harris speaking] “We trust women. We trust women.”

We Decide. Vote Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.
