South Carolina Legislative Updates
The first year of South Carolina's two-year session began on January 10, 2023. Here, you will find information on bills that we are following and how you can take action.
House Bill 3774 – Abortion Ban
This bill would ban abortion in almost all circumstances, with very narrow exceptions. This is a crusade to make South Carolina a forced-birth state. This bill puts politicians in control of private health care decisions, robs people of their bodily autonomy, and endangers their lives.
Last Action: Passed House Judiciary Special Laws Subcommittee; Sent to full House Judiciary Committee.
