WASHINGTON, DC - Following this evening’s vice presidential debate between Governor Tim Walz and Senator JD Vance, Planned Parenthood Action Fund President and CEO Alexis McGill Johnson issued the following statement:

“If it wasn’t clear already: The Harris/Walz ticket is the strongest reproductive freedom presidential ticket in history.”

“We deserve a vice president that trusts women. Gov. Walz is – and has been – a champion for reproductive freedom and will do whatever it takes to support Vice President Harris’s vision for restoring the right to make our own decisions about our bodies, lives and futures. With just 34 days until election day – we know the power is with the people to decide what we want our future to be, and that future must include reproductive freedom.”
