Erin Izzo’s values are wrong for Kentucky.

Vote by November 5 to say NO to Izzo and protect our right to control our own bodies, lives, and futures.

Erin Izzo
Kentucky Supreme Court

The end of Roe v. Wade was just the beginning for those determined to take away our control over our bodies and medical choices. But this election, we have the power to push back. We need leaders who are unapologetic and unafraid to join us in the fight to take back control of our families, our bodies, and our future. This election, we decide.

Erin Izzo has a history of supporting extremist organizations that oppose same-sex marriage, LGBTQ+ rights, and reproductive freedoms, including abortion and in vitro fertilization (IVF).

GET THE FACTS

Izzo sides with anti-abortion and anti-LGBTQ+ groups.

Izzo’s ties to The Family Foundation, a far-right organization opposing same-sex marriage, LGBTQ+ rights, and abortion, show where her true loyalties lie — not with Kentucky families. By aligning with The Family Foundation, Izzo endorses their dangerous agenda to ban abortion nationwide, restrict IVF, and push a regressive agenda that puts the health of people who can get pregnant at risk.

On July 30, 2024, Izzo attended a Lexington event hosted by The Family Foundation, a Christian conservative public policy organization based in Kentucky that opposes same-sex marriage, LGBTQ+ rights, and reproductive freedoms, including abortion and IVF.

“It was uplifting to see so many wanting to get engaged!” Izzo wrote in a post to her campaign’s Facebook page after attending the event.

The Family Foundation is proudly anti-abortion and supportive of a federal abortion ban. On June 24, 2024, the Family Foundation celebrated the second anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision that overturned the constitutional right to abortion.

On Facebook, they noted that they still had work to do to eliminate abortion nationally.

The Foundation also criticized the U.S. Supreme Court decision that upheld the FDA’s approval of the abortion drug mifepristone, preserving access to the pill.

On June 13, 2024, the Family Foundation said it opposed the federal Right to IVF Act.

They said it “raises numerous moral & bioethical concerns, including placing new mandates on religious and pro-life organizations."

The Family Foundation is too extreme even for the GOP. In a July 12, 2024 post on Facebook, the Foundation criticized the GOP for weakening its 2024 party platform on “pro-life and pro-marriage positions.”

They called the platform out for abandoning their “commitment to a Human Life Constitutional Amendment” and the “proper” definition of marriage.

Izzo participated in events led by anti-abortion fake clinics.

Izzo's involvement with crisis pregnancy centers that spread misinformation about abortion shows her commitment to an anti-abortion agenda that misleads and harms those seeking reproductive care.

On June 24, 2024, Izzo attended the Walk for Life event hosted by the Pregnancy Health Center (PHC), an anti-abortion “medical center” in Richmond, KY.

“Friends of PHC – Richmond, KY said it right, LIFE IS SWEET!” she wrote on her campaign Facebook page.

Pregnancy Health Center (PHC) in Richmond, Kentucky is a crisis pregnancy center that shares alarmist and inaccurate information about the physical and mental risks of abortion on its website. “Abortion might feel like a choice that will make all your pregnancy-related problems go away. However, choosing abortion comes with risks to your physical and mental health,” the center’s website states.

Anti-abortion crisis pregnancy centers, also known as anti-abortion centers, fake clinics, or limited services pregnancy centers, are organizations that offer pregnancy-related “information,” “counseling,” and resources with an anti-abortion agenda.

Izzo’s values are out of touch with Kentucky voters.

While the majority of Kentuckians support reproductive rights, Izzo sides with radical groups that want to turn back the clock on our rights and freedoms.

Kentuckians have demonstrated twice now that abortion is a winning and unifying issue, bringing people together across political, religious, and regional divides:

Remember to vote on November 5!

Voting NO on Izzo is a vote to protect our reproductive freedom and LGBTQ+ rights.
