On November 5, we decide.

At no point is a politician more qualified to make decisions about your health than you and your health care providers.

Vote in every race on your ballot. We need leaders at every level of government who believe in reproductive freedom and will fight for it.

Vote YES on Bob Ferguson (D)
Governor

In a time when attacks on sexual and reproductive health care are escalating across the country, Washington state has become a harbor of protection and progress, thanks to the relentless efforts of Bob Ferguson. In his time as attorney general, Ferguson took bold action to not only safeguard access to abortion care for Washingtonians, but also to welcome those who are forced to seek care that they cannot receive in their home state.

We know Ferguson will continue to be a relentless and unapologetic champion for reproductive health care and rights. His record speaks for itself.

GET THE FACTS

Ferguson consistently defends reproductive rights in the courts.
  • When President Trump adopted his rule targeting the disruption of health insurance coverage for abortion, Ferguson filed a successful lawsuit in federal court and won.
  • In 2023, when a federal judge in Texas blocked access to abortion medication, Ferguson took action and led a multi-state lawsuit that safeguarded access for Washingtonians and millions of residents across the dozen states that joined the fight.
  • Ferguson successfully blocked President Trump’s Title X “Gag Rule” — a direct attack on Planned Parenthood that threatened to strip affordable birth control and cancer screenings away from low-income folks in 21 Washington counties and prohibited Title X providers from referring patients for abortion care, even when requested. Ferguson was out front to once again fight back.
  • Ferguson was among the first attorneys general to challenge President Trump’s “contraception rule,” which aimed to let companies deny health coverage for contraception based on moral and religious objections.
Beyond the courtroom, Ferguson fights for laws defending our rights against attacks.
  • After the overturn of Roe v. Wade, Ferguson wrote and helped pass the landmark My Health, My Data Act to protect health data privacy connected to reproductive health care.
Ferguson fights for LGBTQ+ rights and defends access to gender-affirming health care.
  • Ferguson successfully championed groundbreaking legislation (My Health, My Data and Shield Law) that sought to protect access to gender-affirming care for Washingtonians and also for those seeking gender-affirming care that has been criminalized in their own states.
  • In 2021, Ferguson sent a letter to insurance companies, warning them to eliminate barriers to gender-affirming care for their patients.
  • In 2023, Ferguson co-led a coalition of 21 attorneys general seeking to block an Idaho law that banned transgender students from using school facilities aligned with their gender identity.

Abortion opponents are trying to hide their records, but we know the truth.

In every state where anti-abortion politicians have the power to enact laws, they pursue restrictions on sexual and reproductive health care and total abortion bans.

Vote NO on Dave Reichert (R)
Governor

Since the overturn of Roe v. Wade, Washington has been at the forefront of defending access to abortion care, not only for Washingtonians, but also for those seeking the care they cannot get in their own state.

Dave Reichert (R) would undo all of the protections in place for both patients and health care providers across the state and create even more harm. Reichert keeps trying to run away from his record, but the votes speak for themselves.

GET THE FACTS

Dave Reichert knows that his beliefs and his track record are a poor match for our state. That’s why he has repeatedly tried to hide the truth. But watch what he has done throughout his career, not what he says.

Reichert voted for nationwide abortion bans and supported the criminalization of doctors.
  • In June 2013, Reichert voted for HR 1797, a 20-week abortion ban requiring pregnant people to prove rape before accessing an abortion and would have imposed criminal penalties on abortion providers.
  • In May 2015, Reichert voted for HR 36, which “would prevent women across the country from receiving an abortion at 20 weeks of pregnancy,” ignoring the many reasons why people need abortions later in pregnancy.
  • In October 2017, Reichert voted for HR 36, which would amend the federal criminal code to make it a crime for any person to perform or attempt to perform an abortion if the probable post-fertilization age of the fetus is 20 weeks or more.
Reichert has tried for decades to not only restrict abortion access, but also punish those who access it.
  • In 2016, Reichert voted against legislation that protected pregnant people from being fired for getting an abortion or using birth control.
  • In 2005, Reichert voted to criminalize teens who are traveling across state lines to seek abortion care they could not get at home.
Reichert pays lip service to voters and says the opposite behind closed doors.

At a town hall hosted by an extremist anti-abortion group, Reichert openly expressed his goal to “unravel” key state laws and help elect other politicians to push his agenda. At the same event, he spouted anti-LGBTQ+ rhetoric about marriage and trans athletes.

He tries to hide his true agenda, but Reichert’s record goes against Washington values: Reichert consistently voted to defund Planned Parenthood and strip affordable birth control and cancer screenings away from reproductive health care from low-income folks in 21 Washington counties.

The actions of politicians in neighboring states show us that the threats to our rights are real. We must do everything in our power to ensure that Washington remains a safe haven, not only for our residents but also for those from other states who rely on us.

Remember to vote by November 5!

Voting NO on Reichert is a vote to protect the abortion rights and reproductive freedom of all Washingtonians.
